Colm Kelleher was elected to the Board of Directors (BoD) of UBS Group in April 2022. As Chairman of the BoD, he chairs both the Corporate Culture and Responsibility Committee and the Governance and Nominating Committee.
Until 2019, Colm was President of Morgan Stanley, overseeing both the Institutional Securities Business and Wealth Management. Previously, he was Co-President from 2010 to 2012, then President of Morgan Stanley Institutional Securities from 2013 to 2015, and CEO of Morgan Stanley International from 2011 to 2016. He held the position of CFO and Co-Head Corporate Strategy from 2007 to 2009 and served as Morgan Stanley’s Head of Global Capital Markets from 2006 to 2007.
He is a Visiting Professor of Banking and Finance in the Business School at Loughborough University, and an Honorary Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford. Colm has a master’s degree in modern history from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Colm also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Norfolk Southern Corporation since 2019. He is furthermore a member of the Board of the Bretton Woods Committee, the International Monetary Conference, and the Bank Policy Institute, among others.
