Nicolas Pinaud is Deputy-Director of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Entreprise Affairs. He was previously OECD Sherpa to the G7 and G20 (2020 – 2021) and also worked as an Advisor to the OECD Secretary-General from 2010 to 2021. Mr Pinaud started his career as a country-risk analyst at Société Générale Group before joining the OECD in 2002. Between 2007 and 2010, Mr Pinaud was seconded to the private office of the French Minister for Employment. Mr Pinaud is a French national. He graduated from the École Normale Supérieure d’Ulm (Paris). He holds a Masters’ degree in Development Economics, a Masters’ degree in Political Science and a Masters’ degree in History from the University of Paris-1-Sorbonne.
